1. Overview & Commitment
Thank you for playing Mind Spot: Color & Shape Rush ("we", "our", or "us"). Your privacy is extremely important to us. We designed Mind Spot as an offline-first, privacy-respecting brain training game.
2. Information Collection
Mind Spot is engineered to function without requiring user registration, email sign-ups, or personal accounts.
- Personal Information: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses, or social media credentials.
- Location Data: We do not request or track GPS or IP-based geolocation data.
- Biometric Data: We do not collect fingerprint, facial recognition, or health/biometric data.
- Device Identification: We do not collect or log unique persistent hardware identifiers (IMEI, MAC address).
3. Local Data Storage & Usage
To provide game functionality and stat tracking, Mind Spot saves game progress directly on your Android device using local storage APIs (such as Flutter SharedPreferences).
What is saved locally on your device:
- High scores per game mode (Classic, Endless, Time Attack).
- Current level level-up progress and daily challenge streaks.
- Round accuracy percentage, combo streaks, and average reaction time (ms).
- Unlocked achievement badges and trophies.
- App settings preferences (theme colors, sound effects toggle, haptic feedback toggle).
This data never leaves your smartphone or tablet and cannot be accessed by us or any third parties remotely.
4. Android Device Permissions
Mind Spot requires minimal system permissions to run smoothly on Android devices:
VIBRATE(Optional): Used solely to provide subtle haptic vibration feedback when answering mini-games. You can toggle haptics off in Settings.INTERNET: Standard network capability flag, but no personal game telemetry or analytics are transmitted.
Mind Spot does NOT request sensitive permissions such as Camera, Microphone, Contacts, Precise Location, SMS, or Storage/Photos.
5. Children's Privacy (COPPA & Families Policy)
Mind Spot is family-friendly and suitable for players of all ages, including children under 13.
- We comply fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the Google Play Families Policy.
- We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
- The application contains no social chat features, user profiles, or open communication channels.
6. Third-Party Services & Analytics
Mind Spot does not include third-party data tracking SDKs, cross-app advertising networks, or user profiling analytics frameworks that aggregate personal data.
If third-party crash report services (such as Google Play Crash Analytics) are automatically gathered by the Android operating system, they consist strictly of anonymized stack traces used exclusively to fix application crashes.
7. Data Retention & User Data Deletion
Because all data is stored exclusively on your local device, you retain 100% full control over your data at all times.
How to clear or delete your game data:
- In Android Settings: Open Settings → Apps → Mind Spot → Storage → Clear Data / Clear Cache.
- Uninstalling the App: Uninstalling Mind Spot will automatically remove all locally saved high scores, statistics, and preferences from your device.
8. Changes to Privacy Policy & Contact
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app updates or regulatory requirements. Any updates will be posted directly to this web page with a revised "Effective Date".
